– Yokoamicho Park (Pass By) :

Ryogoku has had deep ties with sumo since the Edo period (1603-1868), some 400 years ago, and Hokusai even left a picture of sumo. Sumo is a traditional Japanese martial art whose origins date back about 2,000 years.
